Pam Eidson had always dreamed of being a mother. She and her husband, Steve, made that dream come true when they adopted their beautiful daughter, Delaney Elizabeth Fu Xia from China’s Yunnan Province in December 2002.

Unfortunately, the road to Delaney was rough: the paperwork required to adopt internationally was confusing, difficult, and inefficient. Along the way, Pam knew there had to be a better way, and resolved to do something about it.
After slogging through the paperchase the hard way through her own adoption, Pam became an expert in dossier preparation, and formed a network of adoption professionals to provide personal, efficient and speedy service. ABC International Dossier Services, Inc. was started with one goal: to take the stress out of the adoption paperwork process, so families can enjoy the process of creating their family, not worry about the process of creating their dossier.
“I know what it’s like, and I didn’t want other families to go through it alone,” Pam says. “Besides raising my daughter, it’s the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done.”
Rewarding because ABC clients are like extended family. “I know how precious those documents are, and treat them as if they’re my own,” Pam says. “Many of my clients have become like an extended family. I share in the ups and downs of the process, celebrate the important milestones in the adoption journey, and share in their joy when they bring their children home. It’s truly a blessing.”
Her clients agree. “It’s because of Pam that I never felt alone in the paperchase,” says Jan Saunders, who completed her family by adopting Jolie from China in April 2005. “She did much more than help with the dossier. She was a constant source of advice and experience, and for that I will be forever grateful."
Not only is Pam accessible to her clients, she’s accessible to their agencies, too. If there’s ever a question or problem, ABC works with adoption agencies one on one to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. As a well-respected dossier service, adoption agencies and social workers across the country have referred families to ABC. “I’ve referred clients to Pam Eidson for the past three years,” said Donna Bradley, a Florida Social Worker who does Adoption Home Studies.

“I often find that clients are overwhelmed by the adoption process. Pam takes away the fear and confusion of adoption. She holds your hand and she keeps you from making costly mistakes. I’ve had so many clients tell me what a Godsend Pam has been - they’re so grateful for this invaluable service.” And it’s not just referrals for her clients, Donna’s become a client, too. “I’ve been so impressed with Pam’s dossier service that I used her recently in my own adoption from China. It was a relief to let Pam take care of the certification and authentication process. She organized my paperwork in a beautiful binder and it felt so good to present this beautiful dossier to my agency. I highly recommend Pam’s service to all of my clients.”
While clients are thrilled to have someone take care of the nitty gritty details of the paper chase, adoption can be quite a costly process. Because of this, Pam’s made sure to keep her costs very low, and very reasonable for already-tapped adoptive families. “I know how expensive the adoption process is,” Pam says, “We do everything possible to keep the costs affordable, and our fees as low as possible. Many adoption agencies charge double and triple our fees to do the same work.”
Madeline O'Neal adopted her daughter from China and said she and her husband were overwhelmed at the process, but were delighted with the value of ABC’s services. “Let me tell you, it was worth every penny, and it really wasn’t that much money to spend for the service we received,” Madeline said. “We were clueless about the dossier prep guide and honestly didn’t feel we had the time to try to figure it all out. We were both strapped for time working full time jobs, and just wanted someone who knew what they were doing to handle this for us,” she said. “Pam is an amazingly organized, knowledgeable professional with so much experience… I cannot say enough great things about her. She saved us all kinds of time and energy and headaches! Had we done it ourselves, we would not have known what to do and would have been dealing with a lot more time wasted, and things being sent back to us to redo over and over again. She would call us and email us, and kept in constant contact with us each step of the way. You won’t find a better dossier preparation service.”
Another family, Jodi and Keith Sweatt, adopted twin girls from Jiangsu, China in August 2005 using GWCA, said having ABC do their paperwork sped up their process, and the personal service was amazing. “Pam goes above and beyond,” she said, “Not only will you save time, it is great having someone who has been through this behind you.”

And she’s going through it again – Pam and her husband are in the waiting process to adopt another daughter from China. “I’m truly passionate about our work, and about international adoption," Pam says. “I love playing my small part in helping to bring families together.”
“If you think you need help with your dossier, call her.” says Madeline from Virginia. “You won’t be disappointed and you’ll thank your lucky stars above that you contacted her.”
